Player Registrations
All senior soccer players MUST be registered with Olympic prior to season kickoff. Full name and date-of-birth must be supplied to Club Membership Officer Nina Papadopoulos by email ninapapadopoulos@hotmail.com or by mobile 021 262 7487 before player takes the field.
Clubrooms Attendance
It is a requirement of Olympic AFC that ALL club players do their best to come back to the clubrooms at completion of their games. The Olympic AFC clubrooms are Wakefield Park. Clubrooms will be open for players and supporters for every Saturday home games.

Senior Football Training
Both the Central League and Premier Reserve team are to train at Wakefield Park 2, Island Bay.
Facilities include:

Nets & flags
Nets are available to teams on request. Please contact an Olympic committee member to arrange. Some lower division and masters teams do not require nets and flags to play a match.
Team Gear
Olympic will supply the following gear and equipment to each senior team:
1 x match ball
2 x warmup balls
1 x playing strip inclusive of shirts, shorts and socks (includes goalkeepers strip)
1 x medical kit
1 x whistle
All gear is singed for by the team manager/organiser who is responsible to return ALL gear at completion of the season.
Some teams will be supplied with additonal gear like tracksuits and bags as they become available.
Playing colours
All Olympic senior teams play in Royal blue and/or white. A white "change strip" is available on request prior to a weekend game where colours may clash with opposition.
Fines
Fines that will be imposed on teams and individuals as follows:
- · Any fines for violent or abusive behaviour incurred by any player in your team
- · Fines from Capital Soccer for failing to send team card in or not phoning in home team result
- · Behaviour that brings Olympic AFC into disrepute
Fines must be paid prior to the teams next game. Failure to pay fines on time could see the teams next game defaulted until payment is made.
Team Behaviour
A good standard of behaviour is expected of all players before, during and after their matches. Olympic reserves the right to fine, ban or expell players who mis-represent the club.
Procedures for reporting match day "incidents": Any incidents involving Olympic players and opposition team players MUST be reported to the Olympic club chairman NO LATER than the Monday following the match. Reports accepted only by email to:
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):
Q. If our team wants to change the kick-off time or day of a match, what do we do?
A. YOU must contact the opposing team management to request time or date change and ONLY by their agreement can you proceed with change. Once you have opposing team approval contact Capital Soccer to proceed with change.
Q. Our team wants to bring in players from a team from a higher division. What is the procedure for this?
A. Any senior team may re-grade up to and no more than 3 players from teams in higher divisions for any one match. This also applies to matches where the team from the higher division has no match scheduled on the day that your team plays.
Q. The opposition team is not ready at kick-off time. How long must we wait?
A. All games must kick-off no later than 15 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time. If the opposition is still not ready at this point you may abandon the match and report to Capital soccer who will award your team a 2 nil win. Please note that under certain circumstances the game may need to be replayed.
Q. An incident has occurred in the game and the game is abandoned before the final whistle?
A. Report the incident to your Clubs President in writing no later than Monday following the match. He will ensure that correct procedures are followed and reported to Capital soccer.
Q. What happens if our opposition has strips with clashing colours?
A. It is the responsibility of the Away team to ensure they have a change strip in the case of a colour clash.
Q. What is the minimum requirement of players in a team before a game can kick-off?
A. A minimum of 7 players per team must take the field.
