Costa's Olympic dream comes true

Former Wellington Olympic star and young Wellington Phoenix striker Costa Barbarouses Olympic dream will become reality on the August the 7th when he and the Oly-Whites face China in the opening match of the XXVIII Olympiad in Beijing.

Having made 24 first team appearances for Olympic and scoring 13 goals, Costa proved to us all that he is something special. The Phoenix youngest is currently in Sydney on loan for two months playing for Macarthur Rams in the NSW State League. This is a move made by Costa in order to see more game time as he prepares for the fourth season of the Hyundai A-League and now the Beijing Olympics.

Wellington Olympic would like to congratulate Costa in his inclusion in the Thai Airways Oly-Whites Squad and wish him all the best over in Beijing.
