Former New Zealand All Whites and Wellington Olympic player, and part of the Wellington Olympic Chatham Cup Champions 2009 team, Raf de Gregorio, has stepped up to coach U9 Kratos this season.

Needless to say, Raf is one of the most experienced and prestigious players to have graced Olympic's field having also played overseas for a number of years, and is a great mentor for his young charges to inspire to.

Raf's love of the game is an essential part of bringing out the best in our youngsters, and making sure they're having a lot of fun along the way.  Also a priority is getting the foundations of football right so as new ball skills and techniques are added, the team learns to master each quickly.

Olympic is looking forward to a great season for Olympic Kratos, and a great start for a fantastic future football career for these young ones. 

Mini-Football - Quick Summary:

- 7-aside games

- 2 consecutive games played per Saturday of 12 minute halves

- Goalkeepers introduced (no kicking out of the hands)

- Corner kicks introduced

- Throw ins introduced

- Unlimited rolling substitutions
