WELLINGTON OLYMPIC TO MEET AUCKLAND CITY FC FOR OFC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SHOWDOWN
Wellington Olympic is set to meet National League rivals, Auckland City FC, on the 11th of March in the first round of their home and away National play-offs, with the second round being played in Auckland a week later.
This is a first for a local NZ Club following the demise of the franchises that originally fought for the honours. Auckland City FC have had a number of years as a franchise playing towards the OFC Champions League and are well seasoned on what to expect, but Wellington Olympic has the same heart and determination as did David against the mighty Goliath.
It's going to be two gruelling matches between the two best football teams in the country....
