At last a point!
Olympic 1, Wgtn Utd 1. Finally after weeks of no points a good draw, which could have been a win, gave Olympic a valuable point and kept them in the hunt to avoid relegation. The game never reached any great heights with few chances created by either side. As usual Olympic failed to grasp any of its few scoring chances and the achilles heal of the side was exposed once again. At least the defence played better and gave a solid effort with Mitrakis and Big Dave shining. Chris Christie came closest in the first half with a shot and Big Dave in the second half with a header cleared of the line. PK made a reflex save to deny Minshull in the last few minutes. A fair draw between two average teams performing below par. Two games to go and maximum point is what's required.
