Central League Round 11 - Preview

Olympic v Wests - This match will be a pivotal one for both teams as we see the Central League leaders throw their class and form at Olympic who at the moment are bouncing off a demoralizing loss at the hands of Miramar. Wests are coming off a comfortable win against Marist and are looking to take full points at Newtown Park this weekend. With Barry Lewis and Shaun back into defence and the possible return of star Midfielder Raf DeGregorio Olympics mechanics are looking good as they enter the Game of the Season hoping to rescue what pride they have left and look to take third spot with a win. As Lower hutt sit on 19 points coming off a draw against Stop Out, a win here will tke Olympic into 3rd spot one point behind Miramar.

We will be hoping that the boys can step up here and deliver as a win against a powerfull West's side will boost the team and revitalise their hopes of a Top three, maybe Two finish this Season. Look for Rupert Ryan and Ben Feld to provide the goals for Wests and Anthony Neonakis along with George Barbarouses, Mikey Halikias and Raf looking to creap their way onto the scoresheet for Olympic. We are in for a clash of the Titans when Western Suburbs take on Wellington Olympic at Newtown Park, Sunday 24th of June at 2pm.
