Olympic Star Costa destined to Shine

New Zealand football has never had it so good with three of their national sides qualifying for FIFA World Cups this year. The Senior Women, the Men's U-20 side and the Men's U-17 team will all compete on the world stage this year.

Wellington Olympic would like to wish our very own Costa Barbarouses all the best at this Year U-17's World Cup held in Korea. Costa's dream will come true on the 18th of August as he will lead his country out against the South American power-house Brazil.

This Particular tournament has seen world class players such as Ronaldinho, Francesco Totti, Fernando Torres, Carlos Tevez and currently Olympics' versatility Shaun Easthope back in 1997.

The Wellington Phoenix Striker has been stated by FIFA as New Zealand's Star player.

The pacy, unpredictable striker, finished as the leading scorer at the Oceania FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifying tournament with five goals, including a hat-trick in the 4-0 win over New Caledonia.
