In a cagey affair, Olympic turned the tide around, putting in a positive defensive display after a few horror weeks which has seen them concede 28 goals in their last five fixtures.
Stop Out created a few half chances throughout the game with front-man Micky Malivuk looking the most dangerous on the night but the side were guilty of not making the most of the opportunities created.
Olympic broke down the Stop Out defences just before halftime with some nice combination play between Luis Corrales and Johnny Gerondis who set Haidakis up on the edge of the box.
The striker hit the ball first time and despite a strong hand on the ball from Stop Out ‘keeper Josh Hill, the ball found the back of the net for the only goal of the game.
A straight red card to Olympic midfielder Mario Barcia in the second half made for some nervous moments for the Olympic team but they held on for their eighth win of the season.
