U17s PROVE TO STRONG FOR CAPITAL REGIONAL LEAGUE

IBU/WELLINGTON OLYMPIC U17s

After just three rounds, the IBU/Wellington Olympic U17 combined team have proven way too strong for the Capital Regional League, scoring 25 goals to date, with only one against.

Following discussions with Capital Football, the U17s have been promoted to the Capital Development League with their first kickoff this Sunday.  The promotion also means that the League will now have an even number of teams with no more byes required.

The CDL have already played four rounds and our U17s are starting on the backfoot.  It will be up to the IBU/Wellington Olympic team to reach out to those opponents who have had byes to play catch-up games but Capital Football have emphasised that those Clubs are under no obligation to play.

The team will be meeting the Women's Phoenix Reserves first game up with kickoff at 10.45am on Wakefield 1.

Fixtures for the U17s and all the Club's teams can be found on this website under "Fixtures and Cancellations" then "Season's Fixtures".
